UofM Study Abroad Program of the Month: Israel

The University of Minnesota (U of M) is the 4th largest campus in the US, with over 51,000 enrolled students. Founded in 1851, the U of M has never approved or endorsed any type of study abroad program to Israel. This may be surprising considering that the U of M boasts the largest and most  comprehensive study abroad program in the nation, with over 300 programs in 70+ countries.
In February 2010, for the first time in it’s history, the University of Minnesota approved study abroad to Israel. See the MnDaily’s Article about Study Abroad to Israel.
